Our story
In progress, but here is what we have so far...
Lost coast
Our story started one Easter weekend in the Lost Coast. We met during a backpacking trip organized by Evan.
A few weeks later we started dating. We got lost in the fog during our first hike together in the Marin headlands :)
A passion for travel and a curiosity of the world animates both of us and brought us closer together.
Alaska
Our first trip to Alaska was in Summer 2018, right after we moved in together in San Francisco.
We went there again, this time in winter 2019, to admire the Northern Lights and go over the Polar circle.
Sabbatical
On January 2020 we quit our jobs to go around the world and discover new places. We then spent a few summer months in Europe with our family and friends.
Engagement
Nicolas proposed to Oksana on December 17, 2020. It was natural to pick Alaska for our wedding as a place we both like very much and want to share with our guests.
